The new technically advanced suitcase of its age, this Samsonite case was presented to my husband’s grandfather by “Recketts (& Coleman)”, in recognition for officiating at the Tokyo Olympics in 1964. It accompanied him to every Olympic Games and World Championships until his retirement in 1987.
